There is No Condemnation

Often times, Christians fail at growing in their relationship with the Lord because of feelings of guilt and condemnation due to sin in their life.  They are convinced the Lord doesn’t love them anymore because of what they may have done or said.  But that is a lie and a ploy from Satan, who seeks to distort your view of what it takes to please God.  Satan wants you to believe if you live righteously enough, you will get God’s approval; but if you falter, you will receive God’s disapproval.
God accepts you completely and by his grace through the redemptive work of Jesus on the cross; if you believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord, you are no longer under the penalty of His wrath.
Romans 8:1 says, there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

How to Resist Satan

Paul shares with the church in Ephesians 6:12, that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.
How do you resist the devil and his tricks from defeating you in spiritual warfare?
You must first understand that your fight is not in your own strength, but in the supernatural strength of God.  When you draw on the strength of the Lord and the power of His might, He will provide you with the armor to stand against the wiles of the devil.
You must submit to God and take up His armor; the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, have your feet fitted with the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of righteousness, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.  When you yield to God, you place yourself under His mighty hand that He may exalt you in due time. (1 Peter 5:6)
Finally, you must pray in the Spirit with perseverance and supplication with all prayers.  Prayer will jam up satan’s control system as Jesus intercedes with the power and authority to rout the enemy.

It is amazing, the Lord covers all of our sin by his grace.  We should be grateful that our past is gone and we are new creatures in Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
When you accept Jesus as Savior because of the payment He made on the cross for your sin and make Him Lord of your life, your failures no longer count against you.  God will wash the old things away and make you a new creation.
