Jonah 1:1-17
 
I. COMMISSIONED (v. 1:1-3)
One of the first things you must remember as a Christian, you are: Commissioned.

Commission: an instruction, command, or duty given to a person or group of people.

Mark 16:15, “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

II. CALAMITY (v. 1:4-7)
If you ignore your commission, Calamity may follow!

Calamity: a great misfortune or disaster. grievous affliction; adversity, misery.

III. ACCOUNTABILITY (v. 1:8-12)
Calamity will lead you to Accountability.

IV. CONVICTION (v. 1:13-16)
The Lord will use your circumstances to bring about Conviction in self and others.

V. CONCERN AND CARE (v. 1:17)
Even in your disobedience God will show Concern and Care.
