Joshua 1:1-11

What does it take to understand the plan?
Listen to the Coach. Remember the plays. Put in enough practice so you can execute the plan.
2.) You must be strong and courageous; understanding His power. (v. 5-6)
God always supplies the power to pursue His plans! He will not allow fear and doubt to halt His plan.
3.) You must walk in a manner worthy of His calling. (v. 7-8a)
You must understand His goal.
God will perform and see to completion that which He has promised.
Our great Commander organizes every campaign and prepares His officers to achieve the goal. What is done in the will of God will have the blessing of God!
4.) The promised result comes from our compliance. (v. 8b-11)
You will either move forward toward the place where God want you be or you will bicker and complain in trying to stay where you are at.
(*People of Israel wanted to stone their leader and turn back when it got tough.)
What is the Lord leading you toward in your personal walk? Are you complying with His request?
