Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry is an opportunity for young people to connect and be transformed by the Living Word of God through fellowship and Bible study. This ministry provides a foundation for them to grow closer to Christ and helps them walk according to God’s plan and purpose for their lives. Psalms 119:9-16, “How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Praise be to you, O Lord; teach me your decrees. With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.”

Opportunities to get connected:  Sunday morning Life group, Youth Camp, Ski and Share, Sonfest, and other special events.

College/Young Adult Ministry

The transition from high school to college and adulthood often times can leave young people stressed out as they try to figure out what their future holds.  In the transitions of life, while not knowing what the future holds, you can walk with assurance in the One who holds your future, Jesus Christ.
The College/Young Adult Ministry  is an opportunity to connect and be transformed by the Living Word of God through our Sunday morning Bible study with young people seeking to grow in their relationship with Christ and connect with other young adults.

Hebrews 10:23-25, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;  and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”

Opportunities to get connected: Sunday morning group, special events, FCM (during the school year near BSU campus)

Men’s Ministry

IronMen

Proverbs 27:17, “As Iron sharpens Iron so one Man sharpens another.” It is important in your walk with Christ to have meaningful relationships with other men who are committed to living fully in Christ. Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability helps protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages.  This ministry provides an opportunity for men to grow in their walk with Christ through a biblical foundation and fellowship. Men who participate in this ministry will learn to use this foundation to become better husbands, fathers and leaders, within their own homes and communities.

Gut- Check.  Take a minute and answer these questions.

Do you take time to spend with God? Do you make time to engage in the Word? Are you living by the law or is the Lord guiding your heart? Are you gratifying the desire of the flesh or are you living in the freedom of the Spirit? Do you give regularly to the church and others, serving the needs of those around you? Do you have meaningful relationships with other men who are committed to living fully in Christ?

However you answered these questions, we hope you will join us in sharpening one another.

The IronMen of Pierce Park meet every other Tuesday from 11:00am-12:15pm in our Fellowship Hall.  View the Calendar for dates.

Join Us for the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast every 2nd Saturday of the month from 8:30am-9:30am at the church.

Women’s Ministry

Isaiah 40:31, “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

We want to assist you in building lasting friendships while discovering what you have been chosen and called to do. We also desire to equip ourselves by engaging in the Word of God with one another, in fulfilling the call and destiny that God has placed upon us as sisters, daughters, mothers, wives, and friends in the body of Christ.

You can get connected by participating in the Women’s Bible Studies and Secret Sisters.
